Mysterious ruins of Vouni palace are located on hilltop at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. The palace was built by pro-Persian king Doxandros to overlook the nearby town of Soli, which the king wished to keep under control. The palace was destroyed in a fire by the people of Soli in 380 BC and was never used again.
