Şeftali kebap is a traditional Cypriot dish, also known as "Sheftalia." It is a type of sausage made from a mixture of minced pork or lamb, seasoned with onions, parsley, and spices, and then wrapped in caul fat (a thin membrane from the internal organs of animals). The name "Şeftali" does not relate to the word for peach ("şeftali" in Turkish), but rather, it is believed to be named after a Turkish Cypriot butcher who popularized the dish.
